We had the most amazing weekend at Baxter's which was a truly wonderful place to stay. The accommodation itself is even better than it looks in the photos. It has been decorated and kitted out to a fantastic level and appears that no expense has been spared on the quality. Our host, Jo, was very responsive and replied to all of my messages regarding what to do and where to eat in the surrounding area. This was an important weekend - the whole family were with us to celebrate a special birthday and everyone really enjoyed the stay. I really cannot recommend this place enough so thank you Jo for giving us such an amazing experience.

I stayed at Baxter’s Barn with a group of friends and we had the best weekend! The barn is very modern and equipped with everything you need. Great location, we went on a lovely walk into eye and stopped off at a pub! In the evening we enjoyed cocktails at the Oaksmere which is walking distance from the barn. I would highly recommend this stay and look forward to staying again.

Great place to stay for a family with the dogs, we had a great time and really enjoyed the space. It’s quiet, rural and very comfortable! The fixtures and fittings are to a high standard, the beds are comfy with lovely bedsheets! The welcome hamper was a nice touch also.

We have just had an absolutely faultless stay at Jo’s barn. The barn is absolutely stunning and completely spotless. It has everything you could possibly need whilst you are there too. We stayed as a group of 6 friends for two nights. On the Friday night we stayed at the barn and had a bbq - the outdoor seating area is beautiful and the gas bbq is very easy to use, the gas is all provided for you. We also made our cocktails, the kitchen has all the equipment we needed followed by some music and dancing, again, speakers provided in the barn! On the Saturday we spent the day at Southewold beach.. it was about an hours drive away but absolutely worth it as it was stunning, especially during the hot weather. Saturday night we took a walk to the Oaksmere pub that Jo recommend. It’s about 5 minutes walk up the road and very nice! After our meal we came “home” and played some scrabble! There are board games provided in the barn! Sadly on Sunday it was time to go home but luckily Jo kindly gave us a later check out time which we were so grateful for as we really didn’t want to leave! Overall, the barn felt like a home for home, and there is absolutely nothing we could fault. Jo was a great host who answered any questions we had both before and during our stay, including sending a list of numbers for local taxi companies. Would 100% recommend!

Definitely recommended, a unique experience, top quality barn conversion. The lighting in the barn is exquisite. Kids liked it so much, they want to return.

Fantastic week at Baxter’s. The barn is beautiful, really comfortable and well equipped. Relaxing place to chill out in and great base for exploring Suffolk. Jo was helpful with great communication and lovely touches like a welcome basket of goodies. Would recommend for short or longer stays.

We enjoyed a holiday away to celebrate my mothers 60th. We were 6 adults and one infant - the property suited us perfectly. The property was very clean and comfortable. We made use of the bbq most evenings and lawn for a few friendly games of Quoits!

This is one of the nicest Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in, and Jo is an amazing host! The home is located in a tranquil setting, with access to many footpaths, and easy access to the surrounding towns. We arrived to find a basket in the kitchen, containing cider, chips (crisps), cake, and there was milk, cheese and eggs in the fridge for us. The kitchen was well stocked, and truly a joy to cook in. The beds were very comfortable, and the bathrooms made us feel like we were at a spa. The yard has a stunning well-established garden, making for a peaceful place to sit outside. Jo was so kind, and great with communication. We highly recommend staying at Baxters. Thanks again, Jo!!

We had a wonderful stay at Baxter's Barn. Spacious and comfortable for multiple generations, we made use of all the space and the lovely garden and BBQ. Jo was super responsive and made sure that everything was taken care of for us. It was a lovely half term holiday.

Great property and lovely location. The use of the private lakes meant that we could bring our own paddlebords, which was brilliant!

Baxter’s Barn is a very comfortable and well presented place to stay. It’s in a very private location, not far from Eye and Diss. We took our young children, and they loved it. We’d love to stay again!

Such a beautiful barn and a really practical space for a toddler and dog. It was a really comfortable stay and we had everything we needed for a restful break. We would love to return in the summer to make use of the garden.

A beautiful barn set amongst other barns next to a farm with lots of lovely walks. The barn is beautiful and spacious, finished to a high specification and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. We arrived to a food basket full of treats which was the icing on the cake.

Beautiful barn in a great location for walking. Very clean, with great communication from the host. Five of us stayed at Baxter’s to celebrate a birthday and had a wonderful time walking the dog through nearby woodland to the village, and also on the beach.

We had a lovely stay at Jo’s beautiful converted barn. The house itself is stunning with tons of amazing features, comfy beds, and very clean. The space worked well for us as a family - especially having everything on one floor with a small child. We enjoyed how close the local pub was. Jo was a fantastic host, facilitating an early check in and last minute requests for our little one. The location allowed us to spend a day at the beach (an hour from Aldeburgh). Would definitely recommend!

The kitchen is easily the most well equipped of any holiday rental I’ve ever stayed in, and the pictures don’t do the gorgeous garden justice. What an amazing place to stay! We stayed to celebrate a special birthday and everything was perfect. The barn has been completely renovated to a very high standard. The bedroom and bathrooms are stylish and luxurious. The beds are incredibly comfortable with gorgeous soft linen. The kitchen is very well stocked with absolutely everything you would need. We loved the games room, snug and living space.
